Pets are welcome at Tessie’s

The back garden is fully fenced. As we are a carpet free house and easily cleaned, pets are welcome inside.

HOWEVER –PETS ARE NEVER TO BE LEFT ALONE IN THE HOUSE OR THE GARDEN.  When you go out they must go with you-unless they are being doggy sat.
 
To help you with this Doggy Sitting is available day and night – daytime cost is $5 per pet per hour.  For daytime care you take your pet to the carer - less than 2 minutes away.  Other dogs could be on the premises at the carers so this is a way of leaving your dog in a social environment. Should you wish your pet to be privately minded a carer will come to the house.  The cost for this is $35 for 3 hours care.  Less than 3 hours is still $35 as this tariff includes a call out fee.  Nightime care is in-house only - at the above rate.  This rate is the same for up to 2 dogs  The doggy sitting is by arrangement with the carer - you pay her direct as it is her own business.  We are merely providing her details as a service to our clients.  Ask for details when you book your accommodation.  For those wanting an early start for skiing dog sitting can be arranged from early in the morning as long as enough notice is given.

There is a one off "doggy cleaning fee" of $40 per pet per stay.  This is NOT per night – only per stay – and is to cover the costs of extra cleaning we must do because we let the pets inside.

Please note additional fees apply to excessive dog hair and dirt on furniture.  Similarly extra charges will apply if we have to collect your dog droppings or bones from the garden.  Please take 5 minutes before you leave to check furniture and rugs are fur free and all droppings and bones are collected in bags and placed in the bin.
